ID Search Plus — This is Trans Union's version of the Social Search. This is just a header report, and will not provide you any credit data on the person. However, this report will bring back information on the person's name, social, address, and employment that is reported by the credit bureau. Although it is recommended that you have the name, social, and address of the person when ordering this report, if you do not have the social, and enter all zeroes, there is still a chance that the bureau will find the file and bring back the social for the person.

Detect — This is Equifax's version of the Social Search. This is just a header report, and will not provide you any credit data on the person. However, this report will bring back information on the person's name, social, address, and employment that is reported by the credit bureau. Although it is recommended that you have the name, social, and address of the person when ordering this report, if you do not have the social, and enter all zeroes, there is still a chance that the bureau will find the file and bring back the social for the person.

Person Searches — are used when a specialist has only a social security number. This allows one to retrieve all related names, social security numbers, and addresses under the subject that they are trying to locate; this can assist in verification of identity.
